BioBag 13 gallon Loveable Loo Liners, 36 count - these compostable plastic bags will make cleaning the toilet receptacle a breeze. Fits a five-gallon receptacle with plenty to roll over the top. Free shipping in the continental USA.
When emptying the toilet receptacle into the compost bin, rake aside the cover material, dig a depression into the top center of the compost pile, and just dump the toilet contents into the depression, bag and all. You don't need to do anything special with the bag (no need to poke holes in it or chop it up). Then pull the existing compost over the fresh organic material and rake the cover material back over. Add additional clean cover material as needed.
BioBag® products are BPI certified to meet the ASTM D6400 specification. When it comes to making marketing claims regarding a product’s biodegradable or compostable attributes, the ASTM D6400 certification is the industry’s gold standard. The ASTM D6400 is the North American equivalent of the European EN 13432. Both specifications require that biodegradable and compostable products completely decompose in a composting setting in a specific time frame, leaving no harmful residues behind.
One five-gallon toilet receptacle will, on average, last one person one week during normal toilet usage when an appropriate cover material is used inside the toilet, so you can figure that you will need one bag per week per person. There are 12 bags per box and you are buying 3 boxes.
